The submission period for Round 2 of the Threatened Species Protection Initiative – Community Volunteer Action grants and crowdfunding is now open. The Victorian Government has announced $5.2 million for the Threatened Species Protection Initiative to support immediate action on threatened species and habitat protection.
The following groups are encouraged to apply:
· Landcare, Bushcare, Coastcare, Rivercare, Parkcare and Friends of groups and networks
· Conservation Management Networks
· Naturalist groups
· Public land committees of management
· Indigenous Associations and Aboriginal groups
· Schools and educational groups
· Youth and senior citizen clubs
· Local service and recreational groups
· Not for profit organisations such as cemetery trusts and scientific associations
